This antique petite French Art Nouveau bronze bust of a woman, after J Garnier, is an incredible example of 20th century French decor! If you look at the photos provided you will see the quality within the bronze as well as the lovely rouge marble base. Jean Garnier (1853-1910) was a 19th century French Sculptor/Bronzer who was best known for his Bronze Sculptures and decorative pieces mostly depicting historical subjects as well as subjects of dancers, farmers and musicians. This piece Dates to around 1910-1920 and was probably made right after his death. This piece is perfect for any display case or vitrine and is bound to bring a sense of luxury and character into your home. Although small this bronze packs a big punch! The piece is in good antique condition with the exception of tarnishing to the bronze as well as some light surface scratches to the bronze and marble base but otherwise good condition.
