This vintage pair of French bronze sculptures, after Clodion, is made of the highest quality! we can tell the pair is of quality due to the the chasing done to the bronze as well as the rare Rouge marble used for the bases. Claude-Michel, known as Clodion, was a French sculptor in the Rococo style, especially noted for his works in marble, bronze, & terracotta. If you look at the photos provided, you can see one sculpture is of a satyr and the other is of a lady. This pair of sculptures is bound to bring a sense of sophistication and luxury to your living room, dining room, entryway or place of your choosing! The sculptures are in good vintage condition with minor surface scratches and chips to the marble as to be expected of items of this age.
